Members Memo: November Monthly Update

Golf season may be wrapping up in the north, but it’s full-on Build Season at GolfN. The team has been busy laying the groundwork to deliver a live golf app to the masses by the time the azaleas are blooming in Augusta.

Introducing: The Clubhouse

GolfN is pleased to introduce a brand new community hangout: The Clubhouse. It’s a custom-built digital space for the GolfN community. Inside are several rooms with unique features, from a live poker room to a card vault where exclusive future reveals will occur.

The GolfN team has already held an Open House and AMA in one of the rooms equipped with voice and chat for everyone to get together. Sign up for the clubhouse with the same email you used in the caching portal to view all your collectibles in your personalized locker room.  Register here

Pro Shop Live

The launch of the Clubhouse included the reveal of the GolfN Pro Shop. The team has been sourcing items from the top brands in golf and they are now ready to be purchased. App Update

In the recent Clubhouse AMA, CEO Jared Phillips shared an update on the GolfN app development. The team is progressing towards its goal of having a beta available for card holders this year and a live app by the Masters. The GPS and location services have been live for months now, and the course maps continue to be optimized. Recent updates include scoring and scorecard enhancements and social playing as well as “plays like” features that factor in real-time information like temperature and wind to provide club feedback. Given the pace of development, the app is very close to being in a place where testing can be opened outside the core team to the community once the connection between collectibles and earning XP for playing in the app is made.

Community Events

It’s a great time to get involved in the GolfN community with many events and giveaways taking place! GolfN just wrapped up its third WalkN GolfN event, featuring a $500 sponsorship prize pool divvied up to GolfN holders who hit 12k steps for nine straight days on partner Solana platform Moonwalk Fitness. There will be ONE MORE Moonwalk event before the end of the year. Keep an eye out on socials to see when. Entry is open to anyone with a GolfN NFT.
